Registration Terms and Conditions

1. Overview

These Terms and Conditions govern your membership and participation with Millthorpe Junior Soccer Club Inc. (MJSC). By registering with MJSC, you agree to comply with these terms, our Member Protection Policy, Complaint Handling Procedure, and Codes of Conduct.

2. Registration and Fees

• Registration periods will be advertised by the club

• Late registrations are accepted at the committee's discretion

• Refund requests for cancelled registrations will be evaluated by the committee based on:

  •  Reason for cancellation

  • Timing of request

  • Impact on team composition

  • Other relevant factors

3. Team Allocation

• Team requests must be submitted to the Club Registrar during the registration period at info@mjsc.org.au 

• While all requests will be considered, they cannot be guaranteed

• Late requests will be evaluated based on team impact

4. Uniform Requirements

Players must wear:

• Shin pads (games and training) - player supplied

• Black shorts - player supplied

• Soccer boots - player supplied

• Black socks - player supplied

• Jersey - provided by club for season use

Jerseys remain the property of MJSC and must be returned by the date communicated by the club. A fee of $100 will be charged for jerseys that are lost or returned after the specified return date.

5. Child Safety and Working With Children

• All volunteers must provide a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)

• Members agree to comply with MJSC's Member Protection Policy

• Members agree to follow the club's Complaint Handling Procedure for any concerns

6. Social Media and Photography

• MJSC may post relevant photos on its social media pages

• Parents/guardians must notify MJSC in writing at member_protection@mjsc.org.au to opt-out

• Consent is assumed unless written opt-out is received

• Parents may tag/share photos of their own children

7. ID Requirements

• Players turning 11 years and older require a passport-style photo

• Photo cards will be provided by MJSC for use during the season

8. Codes of Conduct

All members agree to follow the relevant Codes of Conduct as published at www.mjsc.org.au/code-of-conduct and www.mjsc.org.au/coaching-resources, including:

• Player Code of Conduct

• Parent Code of Conduct

• Spectator Code of Conduct

•  Coaches Guidelines

9. Policies and Procedures

Members agree to comply with all club policies and procedures, including but not limited to:

• Member Protection Policy

• Complaint Handling Procedure

• Other policies as published on the MJSC website

10. Changes to Terms

MJSC reserves the right to modify these terms. Members will be notified of significant changes.
